Abstract

Language serves as a reflection of human emotional experience and cultural worldview. This paper presents a comparative analysis of feelings and emotions in English and Uzbek languages. The study explores lexical units, metaphorical expressions, and cultural influences that shape emotional vocabulary in both languages. While universal emotional categories exist, their linguistic realization differs significantly due to historical, cultural, and social factors. The findings demonstrate that emotional language reflects national identity and communicative norms.
