Abstract

This article examines the impact of obesity-related alterations in estrogen levels on the development and progression of breast and endometrial cancers. It highlights the biological mechanisms by which adipose tissue contributes to hormonal imbalance, increased aromatase activity, and chronic inflammation—factors that collectively elevate cancer risk. The paper also reviews current scientific findings on estrogen-dependent tumor growth and emphasizes the importance of preventive strategies targeting weight management and hormonal regulation.
