Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming communication, healthcare, education, finance, public administration, and security. At the same time, its growing use has created serious legal and ethical concerns, especially regarding privacy, discrimination, transparency, accountability, and due process. This thesis examines the legal and normative challenges of AI governance in the context of human rights protection. It argues that AI should not be regulated only as a technological innovation, but as a socio-legal phenomenon capable of affecting fundamental freedoms and equality.
