The article examines the priority tasks of psychology in the context of rapid social, informational, economic, ecological and educational transformations. The contemporary demand for psychological support has increased substantially; however, this demand has also created conditions for the spread of pseudo-psychological services, manipulative coaching practices and commercially oriented “street psychology” that are not grounded in professional ethics or scientific evidence. The article preserves the central idea of the original manuscript: the development of psychology in Uzbekistan must be linked with social responsibility, protection of the individual, strengthening of family and educational institutions, and the formation of critical attitudes toward unverified psychological advice. The paper systematizes the socio-psychological mechanisms through which pseudo-professional influence is formed, analyzes the risks it creates for youth, families and public trust in science, and offers practical recommendations for higher education institutions, professional associations, mass media and practicing psychologists. The author argues that psychology should not be reduced to motivational slogans, commercial self-promotion or universal recipes for success; rather, it should function as a scientifically grounded, ethically regulated and culturally sensitive field that supports personality development, social cohesion and the goals of the Third Renaissance in Uzbekistan.
