Abstract

This article analyzes the current geoecological state of the natural landscapes of the Fergana Valley and the issues of their sustainable development. The research provides a differentiated geoecological analysis of the valley's landscape zones—desert, adyr (foothills), and oasis—and scientifically substantiates the degradation processes caused by anthropogenic pressure. To ensure landscape stability in the region, specific scientific and practical recommendations have been developed, including water resource management, anti-erosion agrotechnical measures, and the implementation of phytomeliorative approaches.
