COURSE OF COVID-19 IN PATIENTS WITH PRE-EXISTING CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES
Abstract
The declaration of a new coronavirus infection as a pandemic by the WHO on 11 March 2020 further increased the medico-social importance of this disease.According to epidemiological data, the severe and severe course of COVID-19 infection is often associated with the size of the age and the presence of companion diseases, in particular cardiovascular diseases. Cardiovascular pathologies such as Arterial hypertension, ischemic heart disease, heart failure, arrhythmias and atherosclerosis are characterized by high mortality rates and an unfavorable clinical prognosis in patients with COVID-19.
