USING AI-BASED TOOLS TO ENHANCE VOCABULARY ACQUISITION IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNING PROCESS

Abstract

The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has significantly transformed educational practices, particularly in language learning. AI-based tools provide learners with personalized learning experiences, instant feedback, adaptive instruction, and interactive activities that support vocabulary acquisition. Vocabulary knowledge is a fundamental component of language proficiency, influencing learners’ abilities in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. This article examines the role of AI-based tools in enhancing vocabulary acquisition in the English language learning process. It explores the benefits, challenges, and effectiveness of AI applications in vocabulary learning among students. The study concludes that AI-powered technologies can substantially improve vocabulary retention, learner motivation, and language proficiency when integrated appropriately into educational settings.
