Developing reading comprehension and effective text analysis skills is one of the primary objectives of elementary education. Traditional text-based instruction often emphasizes memorization and literal understanding, limiting students' opportunities for creative interpretation and active participation. Contemporary educational research highlights the importance of learner-centered pedagogies that transform reading into an engaging, meaningful, and collaborative process. Pedagogical theater and drama technology has emerged as an innovative instructional approach that integrates dramatic performance, role-playing, dialogue, improvisation, and creative expression into literacy instruction. Through dramatization of literary texts, students experience stories emotionally, analyze characters critically, strengthen communication skills, and deepen comprehension. This article explores the theoretical foundations, pedagogical significance, implementation strategies, educational advantages, and classroom applications of drama-based instruction in primary school text work. The study concludes that pedagogical theater significantly enhances reading literacy, critical thinking, creativity, emotional intelligence, and language competence while fostering active student participation throughout the learning process.
