Abstract

This article examines the linguistic representation of the LOVE concept in the contemporary English linguistic worldview. The research material consists of online wedding congratulations posted by users on the YouTube platform. Corpus analysis made it possible to identify the principal linguistic means used to express this concept, determine the specific features of its functioning in English online wedding discourse, and reveal its linguocultural content. The findings demonstrate that, in the analyzed material, the concept of LOVE extends far beyond the expression of an emotional feeling and represents a complex cultural category encompassing ideas of family harmony, mutual responsibility, the spiritual unity of spouses, and the enduring nature of the marital union.
