Abstract

This thesis scientifically assessed institutional factors influencing the development of small businesses on digital platforms. Legal foundations, public digital services, financial infrastructure, and enforcement quality were examined as interconnected blocks. Official statistics and international methodologies were used to identify differences between regulation, service provision, and practical efficiency. The findings showed that institutional coherence, awareness of support instruments, digital security, and internal readiness played important roles in supporting sustainable small business development on digital platforms.
