Abstract

The rapid development of medical science and healthcare technologies has significantly increased the demand for highly qualified medical professionals who possess not only strong theoretical knowledge but also well-developed practical and clinical skills. In this context, interdisciplinary integration in medical education has emerged as an effective pedagogical approach for enhancing students professional competencies. This article examines the role of interdisciplinary integration in the development of practical skills among medical students. The study analyzes theoretical foundations, reviews relevant scientific literature, and explores methodological approaches to interdisciplinary teaching. The results demonstrate that integrating basic sciences, clinical disciplines, and related fields contributes to deeper understanding, improved clinical reasoning, and enhanced hands-on skills. Based on the findings, practical recommendations are proposed to improve the quality of medical education through interdisciplinary integration.
