Abstract

This article investigates the organizational and economic mechanisms for advancing digital transformation in small business entities of Uzbekistan. As the country implements its "Digital Uzbekistan 2030" strategy, the development of effective institutional frameworks, financial instruments, and support infrastructure for digitalization of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) has become a policy priority. The study analyzes the current state of digital technology adoption among Uzbek SMEs, evaluates existing government support mechanisms including IT Park incentives, the Small Business Development Fund, and regional digitalization programs, and identifies key institutional and economic barriers. Based on statistical analysis and comparative assessment, the article proposes a comprehensive model for improving the organizational-economic mechanism of digital transformation that integrates government policy instruments, financial support tools, educational initiatives, and public-private partnerships. The findings suggest that a coordinated, multi-stakeholder approach is essential for achieving sustainable digital transformation across the Uzbek small business sector.
