The present study analyzes the correlation between morphometric parameters of the epididymis and its fertility function. Particular attention was paid to the relationship between epithelial height, duct diameter, luminal sperm density, stromal component volume, and the functional capacity for sperm maturation, storage, and transport. Morphometric indicators were evaluated as objective structural markers reflecting reproductive potential. The analysis demonstrated a strong positive correlation between epithelial height and sperm concentration, as well as a negative correlation between interstitial tissue expansion and luminal sperm content. Structural alterations in the epididymal epithelium were associated with impaired absorptive and secretory activity, leading to decreased sperm quality. The findings confirm that morphometric characteristics of the epididymis can serve as reliable predictors of male fertility status.
