this article analyzes the role of artistic devices in classical Uzbek literature, using the works of the poet Miriy as an example. It reveals the function of such devices as simile (teşbih), metaphor (istiare), personification (teşhis), feigned ignorance (tecahül-i ârif), insertion of proverbs (irsâl-i mesel), and harmony/correspondence (tenasüp) in creating meaning in the poet's works. The research concludes by substantiating that Miriy is a mature classical poet who, through the creative application of artistic devices, harmoniously expressed aesthetic and spiritual-moral ideas.
Bu makalede klasik Özbek edebiyatında edebî sanatların yeri, Miri’nin şiirleri örneğinde tahlil edilmektedir. Şairin eserlerinde teşbih, istiare, teşhis, tecâhül-i ârif, irsâl-i mesel ve tenasüp gibi edebî sanatların anlam oluşturmadaki işlevi ortaya konulmaktadır. Araştırma sonucunda, Miri’nin edebî sanatları yaratıcı bir şekilde kullanarak estetik ve manevî-ahlâkî düşünceleri uyumlu bir biçimde ifade eden yetkin bir klasik şair olduğu temellendirilmektedir.
