MORPHOLOGICAL CHANGES IN THE TESTES FOLLOWING CHRONIC CARBON MONOXIDE EXPOSURE
Keywords:
To determine histomorphological and morphometric changes in the testes of one-month-old white male rats following chronic exposure to carbon monoxide.Abstract
Chronic exposure to carbon monoxide (CO) represents a significant modern environmental and occupational health problem, leading to systemic hypoxia and oxidative stress. The male reproductive system, particularly the testes, is highly sensitive to toxic factors due to its high metabolic activity and complex cellular organization. However, the effects of CO on testicular morphology remain insufficiently studied.
