Abstract

The article systematically analyzes the main problems of developing cotton-textile clusters in the Kashkadarya region. The author found that factors such as the climatic and geographical characteristics of the region, limited water resources, centralization of production capacities, and lack of industrial infrastructure affect the effectiveness of clusters. The existing problems in the production chain, from cotton cultivation to the manufacture of textile products - technological obsolescence, shortage of raw materials, shortage of qualified personnel, and weak market mechanisms - were also examined in detail.
