Abstract

This article presents a comprehensive methodical system for developing professional competencies in students enrolled in Technology Education programs. The study examines the theoretical foundations, structural components, and practical implementation strategies of a competency-based approach tailored specifically for future technology teachers and engineers. Through systematic analysis of pedagogical research and empirical data collected from higher education institutions in Uzbekistan, the article proposes a multi-level methodical framework that integrates content knowledge, pedagogical skills, digital literacy, and design-thinking competencies. The effectiveness of the proposed system is evaluated through experimental results demonstrating significant improvements in students' professional readiness, problem-solving ability, and creative-technical thinking. The findings contribute to the advancement of technology education pedagogy and provide practical guidelines for curriculum developers and educators.
