Abstract

This study investigates the application of solar thermal collectors in the hot water supply system of an industrial enterprise under the conditions of Tashkent city. The research focuses on reducing thermal energy consumption, improving energy efficiency, and utilizing renewable energy sources in industrial facilities. The technical characteristics of solar thermal collectors, solar radiation potential, thermal load requirements, collector efficiency, and system design parameters were analyzed. Particular attention was paid to determining the optimal collector area, heat transfer fluid parameters, hydraulic characteristics, and thermal storage tank capacity. The climatic conditions of Tashkent, including high annual solar radiation and a large number of sunny days, were evaluated as favorable factors for the effective implementation of solar thermal systems. The results demonstrate that the integration of solar collectors into existing heat supply systems can significantly reduce conventional fuel consumption, lower operating costs, and improve environmental sustainability. The proposed solution confirms the technical and economic feasibility of using solar thermal collectors for industrial hot water supply applications.
