PROSPECTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF GREEN FINANCIAL INNOVATIONS IN COMMERCIAL BANKS

Abstract

This article examines the prospects for developing green financial innovations in commercial banks under conditions of sustainable development. The study analyzes the role of green financial products, ESG-based risk assessment, and digital technologies in enhancing banks’ competitiveness and resilience. The findings show that green financial innovation contributes to improved risk management, product diversification, and alignment of banking activities with sustainability objectives, while remaining dependent on regulatory frameworks and data availability.
