Abstract

This article is devoted to the study of the historical development stages of anthroponyms in the English and Uzbek languages, as well as the sociolinguistic and psychological aspects of personal names. The study provides a detailed analysis of the role of names in personality formation and social status of an individual, as well as the key factors that influenced the Uzbek and English anthroponymic systems during various historical periods.
