Chronic coronary heart disease (CHD) remains one of the leading causes of death worldwide, and the age-related molecular and morphological mechanisms of myocardial remodeling in this pathology, despite significant advances in diagnosis, have not been sufficiently studied. The purpose of the study was to study the morphological features of the myocardium in chronic ischemic heart disease using immunohistochemical methods and age-related changes. The Republican Center for Pathological Anatomy received 132 autopsy cases of patients with coronary artery disease, materials of cardiac tissue. Of these, 85 are men and 47 are women. The prepared sections were subjected to morphological examination. Thus, according to the reaction of the MyoD1 marker, the highest level of myogenin synthesis was observed in people aged 45-59 and 60-74, where the indicators exceeded the control 5-10 times, while 75-90-year-olds had a deficiency of myogenin, which stimulates reparative regeneration, which clinically and morphologically reflects a sharp decrease in viability.
