Abstract

Technical and tactical preparation is the cornerstone of success for national wrestlers. Throughout the ages, wrestling has held a unique place in the sports heritage of many nations, especially in Uzbekistan, with its rich tradition of kurash. The comprehensive development of a wrestler is not a matter of talent alone; rather, it is the result of systematic, multi-faceted training processes that unfold over several years. These stages, rooted in both scientific and practical principles, focus on equipping wrestlers with the technical skills and tactical awareness necessary to excel on both national and international stages. The present article dwells on the stages of development, emphasizing the fundamental aspects and the sequence in which athletes are prepared for optimal performance.
