Abstract

This study aims to clarify the concepts of scientific text and scientific discourse within contemporary linguistic research. It considers major approaches to discourse analysis and highlights the functional, cognitive, and pragmatic characteristics of scientific discourse, with particular emphasis on its role in the creation and transmission of scientific knowledge.
