APHORISMS AS TOOLS FOR EDUCATION AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

Aphorisms, short and concise statements that convey universal truths, have a significant role in education and personal development. This study investigates how aphorisms enhance learning, critical thinking, and self-reflection. Using qualitative analysis of selected educational aphorisms, the research identifies their structural simplicity, metaphorical content, and motivational impact as essential features. Findings demonstrate that aphorisms can effectively support cognitive and emotional growth, making them valuable in teaching and self-improvement contexts.
