Abstract

This study considers the topic of transnational entrepreneurship, especially the concept of “necessity-opportunity”. Even though the literature emphasizes the role of diaspora networks, which help to overcome the resource limitations, fulfilling institutional silos, yet, there is a lack of empirical studies on foreigners and diasporas influencing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and international business strategy in the landscape of Uzbekistan. Utilizing an adjusted synthesis of secondary literature, this study examines fundamental models of mixed built-in features and diaspora flexibility. The final findings strongly recommend meaningful interaction of diaspora, particularly in the transition economy of Uzbekistan, which serves as a pathway for future empirical studies.
