MODERN TECHNOLOGIES IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING

Abstract

Educational practices in English language teaching have recently undergone noticeable changes. The reason lies in the growing influence of both digital instruments and updated didactic concepts. Among the most common innovations found in today's classrooms are mixed instructional designs, elements taken from computer games, learning paths adjusted to each student's profile, and various web-based services. These transformations tend to make foreign language acquisition more interesting, less constrained by fixed schedules, and more productive in terms of results. Another positive outcome is the improvement in students' communicative confidence and their ability to study with limited external guidance.
