COCHLEAR IMPLANTATION: SURGICAL PROCEDURE, COMPONENTS, INDICATIONS, AND REHABILITATION PROCESS
Abstract
Hearing ability is one of the most important communicative tools in human life. Considering that only through hearing a person can acquire spoken communication, we can imagine how difficult it is for children with hearing impairments to develop speech and engage in interaction with others. In fact, integrating deaf children into a hearing and healthy society, teaching them spoken language as a communicative tool, and providing education through oral speech is a highly relevant task. In recent years, various developments in medicine and education have contributed to positive solutions to these problems.
