Abstract

This article provides a general description of the lexical-semantic, etymological, and linguistic features of the toponyms of Jondor district. The article also covers bilingualism (bilinguism) characteristic of Oasis culture in the formation of place names - the interaction of layers of Turkic/Uzbek and Persian-Tajik languages, as well as their grammatical features.
