Abstract

Abnormally low-pressure gas-condensate fields with small reserves often suffer from rapid deliverability loss and declining liquid hydrocarbon recovery once pressure falls below dew-point, triggering retrograde condensate dropout and near-wellbore condensate banking. This paper synthesizes global research and field-proven concepts into an integrated framework linking abnormal-pressure characterization, phase-behavior risk, near-well deliverability evaluation, and concept selection under small-reserve economic constraints. The workflow screens and ranks depletion with surface compression, partial gas cycling, and facility-driven options, and is implementable with standard PVT, well-test, and compositional simulation tools.
