This thesis examines the role of a leader’s emotional stability and mediation position in the constructive management of conflicts in work teams.
In a conflict situation, a leader should not be viewed only as a person who issues administrative decisions, but also as a figure who helps balance communication, reduce emotional tension and guide the parties toward a workable solution.
The thesis considers emotional stability, mediation-oriented behaviour, active listening, impartiality and fair decision-making as key psychological conditions for constructive conflict management.
