THE ROLE OF THE TOURISM SECTOR IN THE FOREIGN POLICY OF THE UZBEK SOVIET SOCIALIST REPUBLIC DURING THE SOVIET PERIOD

Abstract

This brief research article examines the role and significance of tourism in the external activities of the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (Uzbek SSR) during the Soviet period. Particular attention is paid to the processes of centralization implemented under state control in the sphere of international tourism.
