Abstract

This thesis discusses the modelling and control of the operating modes of pumps and pumping stations in water supply systems using EPANET. It examines the capabilities of developing pump head–flow and efficiency curves, calculating the hydraulic balance of the network, and analysing water production and consumption processes over time. The modelling results can be used to select the optimal operating point of pumping units and improve the reliability of the water supply system.
