Abstract

Project-Based Learning (PBL) is an effective student-centered approach that can make English language lessons more meaningful, practical, and engaging. Instead of focusing only on traditional exercises and memorization, PBL allows students to use English while completing a meaningful project connected with a real-life situation or problem. This article discusses the role of Project-Based Learning in English classes and examines its benefits for developing students’ communication, vocabulary, critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and independent learning skills. It also presents practical examples of classroom projects and explains the important role of the teacher in organizing and supporting project-based activities. The article concludes that PBL can contribute significantly to effective English language learning when projects are carefully planned according to students’ age, level, interests, and learning objectives.
