The integration of Artificial Intelligence into English language teaching has become increasingly significant in modern education. AI technologies offer innovative approaches to language learning by enhancing personalization, providing immediate feedback, and supporting learner autonomy. This article examines the role of AI in teaching English in the classroom, highlighting its benefits, commonly used tools, and potential challenges. AI-based applications such as chatbots, speech recognition software, and adaptive learning platforms help improve students’ grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and communicative skills. At the same time, the article emphasizes the importance of the teacher’s role in guiding and monitoring AI-supported learning. Despite certain limitations, including technological accessibility and the risk of over-reliance on digital tools, AI remains a valuable resource in English language education. The study concludes that the effective integration of AI, combined with traditional teaching methods, can significantly improve the quality and efficiency of English language instruction.
