Abstract

This article explores Paulo Coelho’s novel 'The Alchemist' as a repository of mnemonic frameworks for life management and personal development. By analyzing the protagonist Santiago’s journey, the research identifies how the narrative functions as a pedagogical tool for goal setting, resilience, and intuitive decision-making. The study argues that the concept of the 'Personal Legend' serves as a cognitive anchor, enabling individuals to organize complex life experiences into manageable, purpose-driven actions. Through a qualitative literary analysis, the paper demonstrates that Coelho’s work provides a structured framework for psychological navigation, emphasizing the integration of experiential learning and symbolic interpretation. The findings suggest that 'The Alchemist' offers a practical template for self-actualization, effectively bridging the gap between philosophical abstraction and actionable life management skills in modern professional and personal contexts.
