This article analyzes the influence of sowing dates and seeding rates on the leaf area development dynamics of mung bean varieties Navruz and Durdona under irrigated conditions of Khorezm region. The field experiment was conducted in 2022 at the Khorezm Experimental Station of the Research Institute of Grain and Legume Crops. Three seeding rates, namely 250, 300 and 350 thousand plants per hectare, and three sowing dates, June 10, June 20 and July 1, were studied. The results showed that leaf area formation increased consistently from the four true leaves stage to flowering and pod formation, while delayed sowing reduced leaf area development in both varieties. The highest leaf area was recorded in the Durdona variety at a seeding rate of 350 thousand plants/ha sown on June 10, reaching 33.6 thousand m²/ha at the pod formation stage.References
