This article examines effective methods of developing students’ speaking skills in English language learning. Many students experience difficulties in speaking English fluently because of lack of confidence, fear of mistakes, and insufficient speaking practice. The study focuses on interactive and learner-centered methods such as role plays, pair and group work, discussions, games, and multimedia technologies. These approaches help students improve fluency, pronunciation, motivation, and communicative competence. The article also refers to the theories of Stephen Krashen, Lev Vygotsky, and Jeremy Harmer, who emphasize the importance of meaningful communication and social interaction in language learning. The study concludes that innovative teaching methods play a significant role in improving students’ speaking abilities and increasing their confidence in communication.
