ANALYSIS OF THE AMINO ACID COMPOSITION OF LICORICE PLANTS GROWN IN THE SYRDARYA REGION
Keywords:
licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra L.), amino acid, chromatogram, aerial part, root, replaceable, irreplaceable, stress factors.Abstract
This article presents the results of the qualitative and quantitative determination of amino acids in the aboveground parts and roots of licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra L.) grown in the conditions of the Syrdarya region. The total amount of amino acids in the plant composition was 6.440 ± 0.01 mg/g. It was found that 2.19 ± 0.02 mg/g of the total amino acid content corresponds to the plant roots, and the remaining 4.25 ± 0.02 mg/g to the aboveground part. It is clear that the amount of amino acids in the licorice root is 1.9 times higher than in the aboveground part.
