Abstract

This article analyzes the importance of the Communicative Approach (Communicative Language Teaching – CLT) in English language teaching. It highlights the role of this approach in developing learners’ real-life communication skills, improving speaking fluency, and increasing motivation in language learning. The study also examines the formation of communicative competence through interactive methods, group work, and the use of authentic materials. The effectiveness of CLT in vocational and technical education institutions is particularly emphasized.
