INTERPRETATION OF HUSNI-KHULQ IN HISTORICAL AND THEORETICAL SOURCES (ON THE EXAMPLE OF SOURCES FROM ANTIQUITY)

This article analyzes the historical and theoretical interpretation of the concept of “khusni-khulk” from a socio-philosophical perspective based on ancient sources. The study highlights the inextricable connection between the concepts of morality, virtue, justice, wisdom, and the ideal person in the works of ancient Greek and Roman thinkers, in particular Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Seneca, Epictetus, and Marcus Aurelius. It also scientifically substantiates the formation of the principles of goodness, norm, responsibility, self-awareness, and serving the interests of society in ancient philosophy. The article provides a comparative analysis of the influence of ancient moral teachings on the development of subsequent philosophical schools and modern moral theory. The results of the study reveal the historical development of good character, its content as a universal human value, and its scientific and methodological significance in today's system of spiritual education. Also, the theoretical potential of the ancient heritage in modern socio-philosophical thinking and the upbringing of a well-rounded personality is substantiated.
