This paper explores the effect of creative speaking tasks on the development of learners' communicative competence in language classrooms. Through an in-depth analysis of educational strategies, it investigates the ways in which imaginative and interactive speaking exercises can help learners improve their pragmatic, sociolinguistic, and strategic communication skills. The study draws on recent research, classroom observations, and expert interviews to discuss the potential of creative methodology to foster active engagement, enhance confidence, and promote fluency in real-life communicative contexts. The findings suggest that incorporating creative speaking tasks not only encourages authentic use of language but also strengthens interpersonal and collaborative abilities, thus contributing significantly to overall communicative competence.
