Abstract

Preeclampsia (PE) is a multifactorial complication of pregnancy, the etiology and pathogenesis of which remain the subject of intensive study. Current understanding is based on the concept of systemic endothelial dysfunction resulting from impaired placentation, an imbalance of angiogenic factors, oxidative stress, and immune and genetic mechanisms. the study of central hemodynamics in combination with biochemical and coagulation parameters makes it possible to objectively assess the degree of systemic disorders in pregnant women with preeclampsia and predict the risk of developing cerebral complications.
