The article analyses the social-philosophical tasks of popularizing national craftsmanship within the context of the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan. The scholarly problem lies in the fact that popularization is frequently understood as an economic or promotional phenomenon, whereas its deeper connection with social consciousness, national identity and the system of values remains insufficiently studied. The aim of the study is to interpret craftsmanship as a phenomenon of national identity, cultural continuity and spiritual heritage, and to define the philosophical tasks of its popularization. The methodology rests on dialectical, systemic-structural, axiological, hermeneutic and comparative-historical approaches. The analysis distinguishes between the declarative and the substantive forms of popularization, and presents the tension between tradition and modernization as an internal source of development. The principal conclusion is that authentic popularization requires the reproduction not merely of the artefact, but of the worldview and values transmitted through the master-apprentice relationship.
