RESULTS OF VIDEO LAPAROSCOPIC CORRECTION OF BILIARY REFLUX GASTRITIS IN POSTCHOLECYSTECTOMY SYNDROME

The study included patients with clinically, endoscopically, and histologically confirmed biliary reflux gastritis who had undergone cholecystectomy and were refractory to medical treatment. All patients were treated using minimally invasive video laparoscopic techniques aimed at restoring physiological duodenogastric passage and preventing pathological bile reflux. Clinical symptoms, endoscopic findings, and postoperative complications were assessed in the early and late postoperative periods.
The results demonstrated a significant reduction in dyspeptic symptoms, epigastric pain, and bile reflux manifestations after surgical intervention. Endoscopic evaluation revealed marked regression of inflammatory changes in the gastric mucosa and a decrease in bile content in the stomach. The video laparoscopic approach was associated with low morbidity, minimal postoperative pain, and rapid recovery.
