Abstract

Education if swiftly being transformed by the means of Artificial intelligence. This creates opportunities for EFL teachers. This article investigates how AI tools aid both educators and students by offering customized learning experiences, automated feedback, interactive exercises, and data-informed insights. Such educational platforms as Grammarly, Duolingo, ELSA Speak present algorithms, systems and technologies improving language learning and usage. AI also supports educators with lesson design, assessment methods, and classroom organization, while tools such as ChatGPT can act as virtual tutors, including assistance for IELTS exam preparation. On the other hand, there are some challenges, such as overdependence on technology, minimised human interaction, privacy conciderations and reduction of creativity among students.The article contends that the most effective EFL teaching strategies involve a balance between AI and traditional, human-centered methodologies to promote inclusive, culturally aware, and communicative learning experiences.
