This expanded thesis examines the theoretical and methodological foundations for modernizing the teaching process of medical chemistry in higher education institutions. Innovative pedagogical technologies—such as digital learning environments, problem-based learning models, flipped classroom approaches, and interdisciplinary integration—are analyzed as key mechanisms for developing students’ professional competencies. The work provides a comprehensive review of didactic strategies, practical implementation examples, assessment methods, and potential challenges. Furthermore, the didactic effectiveness of these approaches is substantiated through specific practical cases and comparative analysis. The author concludes that integrating innovative technologies significantly enhances cognitive engagement, critical thinking, and clinical reasoning skills among medical students.
