Abstract

This article is devoted to the history of the study of Uzbek ritual folklore, the article tells about the unique way of life of the Uzbek people, the history of the formation and genetic foundations of the Uzbek people, national traditions and oral art, complex stages of development.

Examples of sources are given in the work of Mahmud Koshgari "Devonu Lugotit Turk" and in the work "Materials for the study of the Tanchi dialect of the Ili region" by the orientalist N.N.Pantusov.
