Abstract

This research explores the representation of Uzbekistan in English-language ecotourism discourse. The study investigates English travel articles, tourism blogs, guidebooks, and promotional materials that present the ecological and cultural attractions of Uzbekistan to international audiences. In the era of globalization, English tourism communication has become an influential instrument in shaping the image of tourist destinations worldwide. The paper focuses on linguistic and stylistic devices that are employed to construct an appealing and positive perception of Uzbekistan. The findings reveal that English ecotourism texts commonly depict Uzbekistan as a destination characterized by scenic landscapes, historical traditions, ecological diversity, and authentic cultural experiences. Moreover, the research underlines the importance of tourism discourse in strengthening intercultural dialogue and promoting sustainable tourism development.
