The rapid development of electric vehicles (EVs) has created new opportunities for sustainable transportation systems worldwide. However, limited driving range and dependence on charging infrastructure remain significant challenges. The integration of photovoltaic solar panels into electric vehicles represents a promising solution for increasing energy efficiency and extending driving range. This study investigates the effectiveness of installing solar panels on the roof surface of electric vehicles under the climatic conditions of Uzbekistan. A monocrystalline photovoltaic panel with dimensions of 1900 × 1056 mm was analyzed to determine its potential energy generation and contribution to vehicle operation. The results indicate that the proposed solar panel system can generate approximately 2.4 kWh of electrical energy per day, providing an additional driving range of up to 16 km under favorable weather conditions. Furthermore, environmental and economic benefits associated with solar-assisted electric vehicles are discussed. The findings demonstrate that solar panel integration can significantly improve vehicle energy efficiency while reducing dependence on conventional charging systems.
