Abstract

This article analyzes the communicative-pragmatic properties of phraseological units. The role of phraseological units in the speech process, their importance in achieving communicative goals, and their functions in expressing the relationship between the speaker and the listener are highlighted. Also, the pragmatic functions of phraseological units, such as expressiveness, emotionality, evaluation, and influence, are studied on the basis of examples. The results of the study show that phraseological units are not only linguistic units, but also a means of reflecting national-cultural and communicative values.
